Ecolab partners with “Un des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France" prestigious competition for skilled workers to share its knowledge in hygiene and food safety with
competitors in the catering sector.  

Ecolab and the Comité d’Organisation des Expositions du Travail in charge of "Un des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France" (UMOF) competition are proud to announce the signing of their partnership. Together, both entities can join their expertise to promote excellence in gastronomy:

• The UMOF competition has been promoting vocational studies and skilled trade work since 1923  
• Ecolab will bring its hygiene solutions and expertise to the competition, to ensure clean, safe, healthy and sustainable activities. 
• Ecolab, as a partner of the UMOF competition for the catering trades group in the "cook" category, will contribute its knowledge in the field of food safety and hygiene. 

About COET:  

The COET-MOF aims to enhance the value of the vocational route and to promote the profession, and the UMOF competition is one of the means of carrying out the association's orientations. The COET-MOF is delegated with a public service mission and does everything possible to guarantee the quality of the certification. 

The UMOF competition is, since its origin, a validation of the mastery of a French know-how in a professional situation, and a national representation supported by the French state.  

The COET-MOF is the guarantor of the organization of the diploma competition and must prove that the fundamental values that drive the legitimacy of the title are respected. These are equality of opportunity, fairness, and ethics.
